(KAIR)--Another Amelia Earhart Festival is in the books – with thousands of people converging on Atchison for a weekend of live entertainment, kids’ games, aerobatic performances, and more—all capped off on Saturday night with one of the best fireworks shows in the Midwest.

The annual Lakefest concert continues to gain in popularity as well. Jason Nichols, Chair of the Publicity Committee for Lakefest, says it’s estimated that more than 12,000 people attended this year’s concert, which featured country music stars Lauren Alaina, Lee Brice, and Gary Allan.
