There will be a Soil Health Training on Thursday, August 8th at the Family Life Center of Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton. The training will begin at 9:00AM. The special speaker is Ray Archulteta, who is a Conservation Agronomist at the NRCS East National Technology Center, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Lunch is free, compliments of the local county Conservation Districts. There will be an optional cover crop field tour from 2:15 to 3:30PM at Henry Hill’s wheat field located north of Holton on highway 75 to 254th Road. Then, turn north and go 1/8th of a mile.
