(KTNC) - A young passenger in one vehicle was injured in a two-vehicle collision in rural Holt County Thursday afternoon. The accident happened shortly before 1:30 p.m., on Highway 159 eight miles south of Mound City.
The Missouri State Patrol says 22-year-old Kayla Fritz of Falls City was driving south on 159, when her car collided with a vehicle, driven by 62-year-old Nancy Calltharp of Overland Park, Kansas. The Patrol says Calltharp was westbound from a private driveway and failed to yield to Fritz’ car, which struck the left rear portion of Calltharp’s car.
A three-year-old passenger in Fritz’ vehicle, Audray Martinez of Joplin, Missouri, was taken by private vehicle to the hospital in Falls City with minor injuries. Neither driver was injured.
