( KNZA )--A 22-year-old Hiawatha man convicted on burglary charges has been placed on probation.
Ryan Massengill was given a suspended prison sentence Thursday in Nemaha County District Court on two counts of burglary—one of a dwelling and the other of a vehicle--and placed on 24 months probation.
He pleaded no contest in April to the amended charges as part of a plea agreement.
Massengill had originally been charged with aggravated burglary, burglary and three counts of theft.
He was arrested in March in connection with several burglaries that took place in Sabetha last summer.
