Atchison Man Heads to Prison for Wal-Mart Burglaries
05/24/2013

(KAIR) -- An Atchison man will head to prison on two aggravated burglary charges related to two shoplifting cases.

Frederick Lockett will serve a total of 16 months for entering the Atchison Wal-Mart two times after being placed on the banned list following previous theft convictions from the store.

Those that typically are arrested for another charge, most commonly theft from the store in question, will commonly be charged for aggravated burglary, a level five felony in Kansas, if they have previously been banned from re-entry by a store.
