(KAIR) -- The City Administrator of Valley Falls has been hired as a Consultant for the 2014 Atchison County budget cycle.
Chris Channell met with Commissioners Monday to offer his services for the budget season.
Commissioner Jeff Schuele says Channell will assist Special Projects Manager Chase Brunick for this year’s cycle.

Channell will begin with the county immediately and Schuele says taking this position does not interfere with his contract in Valley Falls.
Channell will be paid 23 hundred dollars for his services.
