(MSC News) -- The two suspects arrested from a multi-county vehicle pursuit on Saturday are expected to face felony charges in both Missouri and Kansas.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says the charges for 23-year-old Trenton Wiseman of Blue Springs stem from his alleged attempt to elude stop sticks set down by police at the foot of the Amelia Earhart Memorial Bridge in Atchison.

As a result of avoiding the oncoming vehicle, Anna Day suffered minor neck and head injuries and was transported to Atchison Hospital.
The chase continued throughout parts of Atchison and into Brown and Nemaha Counties before the vehicle got stuck in the mud on a Nemaha County road and authorities were able to arrest Wiseman. That happened North of Wetmore.
The passenger, 29-year-old Jacob Abney, of Independence, Missouri, jumped from the vehicle about a mile east of where the truck stopped.
Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie says Abney was found in a ravine in a field about 700 yards north of the roadway with the assistance of the Highway patrol K-9 unit and other officers from surrounding agencies.
However, Wilson says new developments occurred Sunday after a resident made a discovery in his yard, finding what is believed to have been the weapon fired in Missouri.

The pursuit on Saturday originally began on Platte County Road M, where two vehicles were allegedly stolen from separate properties.
KQ2 news reports that relatives of one of the vehicles ended up chasing the vehicles through rural Buchanan County and Rushville to US 59 and Mud Lake Road near Winthrop, where the vehicle driven by Abney crashed.
Abney then jumped into the vehicle Wiseman was driving and went into Kansas.
It’s currently unclear what charges the duo may face in Missouri, but from the Kansas chase, Abney was booked on charges of possession of stolen property and obstructing legal process.
Wiseman was also booked on possession of stolen property, criminal damage to property and traffic charges from the pursuit.
Both remain in Atchison County Jail without bond, awaiting formal charges.
