(KAIR) -- The combined choirs of Benedictine College and the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth will present a concert of English Masterworks on Sunday afternoon at three at St. Benedict’s Abbey Church.
The program will include "O God, Beyond All Praising" by Gustav Holst, "O Clap Your Hands" by Ralph Vaughan Williams and the Requiem by John Rutter.
Benedictine students, Rachel Noffke and Katrina Keat, will be the featured soloists for the performance.
A special performance by the Benedictine Brass under the direction of Mr. Ted Hanman will feature a fanfare as well as accompaniment for two numbers.
Dr. William Krusemark, Professor and Chair of the Fine Arts Division at the University of Saint Mary will conduct the program and Dr. Ruth Krusemark, Professor and Chair of the Benedictine College Music Department will serve as organist.
Dr. Chris Greco, James Kew, Tim Burfeind, Grace Kirwan and Caitlin Clark will participate as instrumentalists in the chamber orchestra.
The program is free and the public is invited to attend.
