( KMZA )-- The principal of the Marysville Elementary School has resigned
The Marysville Board of Education unanimously accepted the resignation of Sherry Helus Wednesday, which is effective at the end of the current school year.
The Marysville Advocate reports Helus has accepted a job as an elementary principal in the Seaman school district.
Helus is in her first year as principal at the Marysville Elementary School.
Before coming to Marysville, Helus was a third-grade teacher at West Elementary School in Wamego.
