(KLZA) Remember the old saying don’t play with matches? The same goes for lighters. Tuesday afternoon the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department was called to 1705 Morton in Falls City. Two youngsters playing with a lighter caught a bush on fire in the front yard of the home.
Fire Chief Ken Simpson said due to the extremely dry conditions that persist the bush caught fire. There was no damage reported. Seven firemen responded to the call.
