After three successful Sorghum U programs in Texas, Kansas and Nebraska, the Sorghum Checkoff will host one more session in Chamberlain, S.D. April 9, 2013, with help from co-sponsors High Plains Journal, Chromatin Inc., and POET. The session will follow the same format as previous meetings, providing farmer-focused breakout sessions based on issues affecting South Dakota and the surrounding region. Sorghum acres in this area are driven largely by private industry interested in contracting sorghum for biofuels. To learn more about Sorghum U, visit www.sorghumcheckoff.com.
