(KAIR) -- A 67-year-old Nortonville man will head to prison for possessing child pornography.
Burton Tribble was sentenced to 32 months Thursday in Jefferson County District Court.
He was arrested in February 2012 by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department for possessing download sexually explicit internet material of children under 10.
The sheriff’s department assisted in the original investigation of the Internet Crimes against Children division of the Wichita Police Department and the Kansas Attorney General’s Office.
County Attorney Jason Belveal says conditions of the sentence also include three years of intensive supervised probation upon his release and the requirement that Tribble register as a sex offender for 25 years.
