(KAIR) -- Benedictine College in Atchison made the national scene again on March 19 when it was rated as one of 14 colleges with the most notable commencement speakers by Philadelphia magazine.
According to writer Annie Monjar, Benedictine “nailed the commencement speaker game” with its announcement of former vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan.
Other colleges on the list included Harvard, Yale and Notre Dame.
Philadelphia magazine is a regional publication providing topical, in-depth reports on crucial and controversial issues, ranging from business trends, political analysis, metropolitan planning, sociological trends, plus critical reviews of the cultural, sports and entertainment scene.
