(KMZA)--Another scam circulates in the local area, this one using a hacked email account in an attempt to gain fast cash.
Seneca Police Chief Brent Schulte says his office was alerted by a would be victim, and he warns all area residents not to fall for it(Play Audio)
Although there is no guaranteed way to keep hackers from using your email to commit such a scam, security experts say to change passwords regularly and to check your email's outbox occasionally to see if any unusual emails have been sent that you did not compose.
