Schuetz is a lifelong resident of Hiawatha and graduated from Hiawatha High School.
Board President Dave Thompson commended both candidates, saying he didn’t think the board could go wrong with either.
Following his selection, Schuetz took a seat on the board. However, he won't officially become a board member until he's sworn into office at the Brown County Clerk's office.
