(KNZA)--Dog owners, whose pet weigh 40 pounds or more, are eligible for grant assistance to spay or neuter their animal.
The monies are made available through the Brown County Humane Society, but are only offered through the end of this month.
Society President Phyllis Schafer says those wanting the help should contact her for the details(Play Audio)
Dog owners do not have to live in Brown County to be eligible to receive the grant funds.
However, the monies for the spay and neuter process must be used at one of the three veterinarian clinics in Brown County.
