(KNZA)--A new head football coach has been selected to lead the Marysville Bulldogs for the next season.
He is Dustin Heuer, appointed to that position during a special meeting of the Marysville USD 364 Board of Education Wednesday night.
Heuer, a Hanover native, is currently coaching in Crete, Nebraska.
When he begins duties as Marysville Head Coach for 2013-2014, he will also serve as secondary physical education teacher.
Heurer's brother, Matt, is currently the head coach for Hanover.
Heurer replaces first year coach Eddie Miner who resigned from the position citing family issues.
Along with filling the Head Coach position, the Board of Education also approved the calendar for the next school year, with classes to begin August 15th and end May 22nd, 2014.
Administrator contracts were also approved during the special session, including that of Superintendent Khris Thexton for the next school year.
