(KAIR) -- A 38-year-old Atchison man has pleaded guilty to an amended child sex charge.
Kevin Scott entered the plea Monday afternoon in Atchison County District Court to one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Scott had faced additional accounts related to the incident, including rape, before it was amended into a single charge.
He was arrested in mid-December by Atchison Police for committing sexual acts to a six-year-old girl on December 1st.
Sentencing is set for April 19th.
He could face 55 to 247 months in prison.
Scott remains free on 250 thousand dollars bond.
