(KTNC) - A truck driver from Tennessee escaped with minor injuries when his rig ran off the Interstate near Mound City Sunday morning.
The Missouri State Patrol reports that 52-year-old Robert Blanton of Adamsville, Tennessee, was driving a semi northbound on I-29 three miles north of Mound City at 10:38 Sunday morning, when the truck went off the roadway and struck a culvert.
Blanton was taken by Holt County E-M-S to the Fairfax Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. His truck, a 2013 Peterbilt, sustained extensive damage.
