(KAIR) -- A car/train accident at the intersection of Missouri Highway 45 and the 45 spur near Farley sends two to the hospital.
Public Information Officer Erik Holland says the individuals in the car have suffered head injuries to an unknown extent, but both were conscious and transported to area hospitals by ambulance.
Initial indications are that the vehicle was attempting to go around the barricades at the track, slid on wet snow and got stuck on the tracks.
The accident was reported just after 11 Thursday morning.
