(KTNC) - The 62nd Annual Falls City G-F-W-C Art Show is open at the Stalder Gallery in the Falls City Library and Arts Center.
There are 500 entries in this year’s contest from kindergarten through 12th grade students from Falls City Public, Sacred Heart, HTRS, and Auburn Public Schools.
The “Best of Show” entry is a colored pencil drawing by Falls City High School junior Karle Embretson.
“Best of Category” winners were by Ashli Jordan in the “colored pencil, pencil, pastels, crayon, and charcoal drawing” category, Rachel Parrish in the “Mixed Media” category, Madison Olberding in the “Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, and Tempera” category, and Ashley Crawford in the
”Graphic Design” category.
The Falls City General Women’s Club and Richardson County Arts and Humanities Council sponsor the show. Twenty-five entries from the Falls City art show were selected for the State Art Contest, April 18 to 20 in Grand Island.
The students’ artwork will be displayed at the Stalder Gallery through February 28th.
