(KAIR) -- A fitness competition that’s new to Atchison will debut Saturday morning.

That’s Clint Summers, a fitness instructor and gym owner in Atchison.
He says he was inspired to bring the competition to Atchison after learning a similar competition in Topeka will not take place.
The competition, beginning at 8:30 at Insular Gym located in the back alley of 721 Commercial Street, will feature four events.

Summers says there are still a few openings available for competitors, but recommends entrants have experience with functional training methods.
Interested entrants can contact Summers at 785-925-1918.
The event is open to spectators and male and female winners will be crowned.
