(KNZA)--Following recent tragedy that struck the company, Hiawatha based Ken Babcock sales moves ahead, looking to the future by naming a new Operations Manager.
Jeff Otott, two year sales associate and project manager for KBS, now fills that role.
He assumes the responsibility following the death of Jason Drane, who died, along with company founder and President, Ken Babcock, in a Nebraska plane crash January 11th.
Otott brings to the position over 20 years of experience in agricultural markets, and CEO Nancy Babcock calls his track record of success ideal for the company's next major phase of growth.
Otott's career has included 8-years as a grain processing manager at North Central Kansas Processor, and started his career as a loan officer at Citizens National Bank, specializing in loans for agricultural operations.
