(KLZA) The Auburn City Council conducted a public hearing on the 1 & 6 Year Street Plan Monday night. Prior to the hearing the Council approved plans and authorized going to bid soon on the “P” Street bridge replacement project. Mayor Scott Kudrna said the estimated cost is more than $128,000.
He said the project is moving forward and that the Community Reinvestment Authority will provide $60,000 toward the project. ( play audio :33 seconds )

Kudrna says it will require grant funding to pay for the proposed Courthouse Avenue Project. ( play audio :19 seconds )
A proposal for the “S” Street paving project from JEO Consulting did not receive the green light from the Council. ( play audio :43 seconds )

In other business the Auburn Council did approved resolutions to authorize water liens and sewer liens against real estate on delinquent accounts with the Auburn Board of Public Works.
