Ken Babcock

 

Ken Babcock, killed in a private plane crash Friday near North Platte, Nebraska, is being remembered for his numerous interests, and talents, including his love of helping others(Play Audio) 

That's White Cloud resident Ken McCauley, former president of the National Corn Growers Association, whose longtime association with Babcock goes back over 4 decades, to the time that Babcock taught at Highland Community College(Play Audio) 

Babcock's desire to teach science stemmed from his love of nature, receiving a Master of Science Degree in Biology from Emporia State University(Play Audio)

While he loved working with his students, both at Highland and Rosedale High School, Babcock's father's illness brought him back to the family farm(Play Audio)

Following the founding of Ken Babcock Sales, Babcock found himself in the global marketplace, where he was able to do what he loved most: meeting, connecting and nurturing a wide variety of people through his unique approach to life.
