Atchison Man Pleads Not Guilty to Multiple Burglaries

(KAIR) -- A 21-year-old Atchison man will head to jury trial a not guilty plea was entered to multiple burglary related charges Monday in Atchison County District Court.


Prosecution will present their case against Ryan Brownfield February 5th.

Brownfield stood mute in the courtroom when asked for his plea before Judge Martin Asher eventually submitted a not guilty plea for the record.

Among the charges, he’s alleged to have broken into and damaged the Full Moon Saloon and Bunge Milling in February 2012.

He’s also charged with aggravated burglary, two counts of felony theft, misdemeanor criminal damage and motor vehicle burglary in connection to a burglary of a rural Atchison residence in September while the family was home.
