Fire Causes Minor Damage to Falls City Home

(KLZA) Fire caused minor damage to a Falls City home Wednesday evening.

The Falls City Volunteer Fire Department was called to the David Helmick home at 1109 Harlan Street about 5:30 p-m 

Officials say a fire had started on the floor of the home, and was extinguished by the time firemen arrived.

13 members of the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call and were on the scene for just over 90 minutes.

It is believed the cause of the fire was electrical in nature. There were no injuries reported.
