(KAIR) -- A record amount of Atchison senior citizens were given a free hearty meal prior to the Christmas holiday.
For the fourth year, citizen’s donations of cash and extra change raised over the course of the last six months at KFC/Taco Bell were able to feed 202 seniors Christmas Eve with either dine-in or volunteer-delivered meals.
Restaurant Manager Chandra Martin says community generosity made the record possible.
