Troy Superintendent Resigns
12/27/2012

(KNZA)--The Superintendent of Schools for Troy’s USD 429 has resigned.

The Board of Education accepted Sue King’s letter of resignation during their regular meeting earlier this month.

That followed an executive session held during the meeting.

A special board meeting, two days later, included Kansas Association of School Boards official Bill Majors in attendance, as the KASB will assist USD 429 with the process of hiring a new superintendent.

According to the Kansas Chief, King has served as Superintendent and Principal of pre-K through 12th grade since April of 2007.
