(KAIR) -- Atchison Police were busy over the weekend responding to several accidents, some of which were weather related from what’s left over from last week’s winter storm.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says the weather related ones occurred Friday.
The first one occurred in the 10 hundred block of South 73 Highway when a vehicle driven by Roy Devor slid on ice and struck an embankment, causing front-end damage.
The second occurred at the intersection of First Avenue and N Street when a vehicle driven by LaJoyce Allen slid on ice, jumped an embankment and struck a tree.
No injuries were reported in either accident.
However, Wilson says an injury accident did occur Sunday morning around 11.
