(KAIR) -- Atchison Police are still on the hunt for the final suspect in connection with a drug sweep last week in Atchison that’s netted 19 arrests so far.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says they have been following leads on the remaining two suspects, 45-year-old Michael Moeck of Atchison and 30-year-old Justin Stecher of Topeka for the last several days.
Police were able to apprehend Moeck late Monday morning.
He’s charged with distribution of a narcotic, no drug tax stamp and use of a telecommunication facility to facilitate a controlled substance transaction.
The 20 suspects are accused of various drug related charges, including the alleged sale and/or distribution of methamphetamine or various controlled pharmaceuticals.
The charges came as a result of a covert drug investigation conducted by police this fall.
Of the 19 suspects arrested, 16 have already posted a 25 thousand dollar bond and will make their next appearances on January 11th.
