(KAIR) -- Seventeen Atchison residents were taken into custody Wednesday morning as part of a drug sweep.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says the operation began at six Wednesday morning.

Also arrested in connection with the investigation were Amy Collins, Marcus T. McGowan and Holli Sledd.
Wilson says three other suspects remain at-large in the region.

Wilson says the charges for each individual vary.

All remain in the Atchison County Jail on 25 thousand dollars bond as of Wednesday afternoon.

3) Ebony N. Knott, 34, Atchison
Possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute, distribution of a narcotic (5 counts), no drug tax stamp (6 counts), conspiracy to distribute a narcotic
4) Holli M. Sledd, 36, Atchison
Distribution of a narcotic (4 counts), no drug tax stamp (4 counts)
5) Michael W. Scott, 54, Atchison
