Horton Christmas Luminaries Sunday
( KNZA )-- The 22nd annual Christmas Luminaries will take place in Horton Sunday evening.
Citizens from Horton area churches will take present 20 living scenes depicting the life of Christ from his birth to the resurrection.
The event, from 5:30 to 8:00 Sunday evening, covers several blocks beginning at 13th and Central and finishing at 14th and First Avenue East.
The nine churches represented by the South Brown Country Ministerial Association invite everyone to drive through the candle-lit route to view the scenes.
The event is open to the public free of charge. However, those wishing to support the ministerial association's emergency fund for those in need may give a freewill donation at the end of the route.
