(KAIR) -- Northeast Kansas beef producers will have an opportunity to learn about various topics Friday in Effingham.
A NEK Beef Producers Day, in conjunction with the Atchison County and K-State Extension offices, will take place at the Blue Building from 10:45 until two.
Extension Agent Ray Ladd says two speakers will have presentations.

The other will be with Erik Atkinson of K-State Radio on staying informed on livestock issues locally and nationally.
A lunch between the presentations will be available and producers are asked to contact the extension at 913-833-5450 to RSVP.
