(KLZA) A 31 year old rural Shubert woman was arrested Thanksgiving evening by Richardson County Deputy Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Lewis Barker for Domestic Assault and Terroristic Threats.
Barker received a complaint at approximately 5:10 p-m from Rich Niedfeldt in regards to a domestic situation between his girlfriend, Megan Ivey, and himself that had occurred about 1 a-m on Thanksgiving at the residence they share.
Ivey was upset when Niedfeldt got home about a phone message he had received. Ivey allegedly took the argument to a physical altercation punching Niedfeldt and biting his arm. Niedfeldt told Sgt. Barker that Ivey also threatened to stab him. Niedfeldt left the house and went to sleep in his pickup the rest of the night. When he returned to the house later that morning the argument continued and Ivey allegedly threatened to stab Niedfeldt again and also allegedly made threats against his parents. Niedfeldt left the home.
Later in the day Ivery arrived at the farm where Niedfeldt was working and continued to argue eventually kicking Niedfeldt and threatening to run his truck she was driving into the tractor he was operating.
When he went home later, Ivey allegedly bit Niedfeldt again and threw pumpkins and a pan at him.
Ivey was arrested about 11 p-m when Sgt. Barker initiated a traffic stop at 26th and Harlan in Falls City.
Ivey was transported to the Nemaha County Jail and was later transferred back to Richardson County.
