( KNZA )--A St. Joseph, Missouri teenager was injured Saturday morning in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 36 Highway in Doniphan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Brandon Skylar Wayne Perkins was traveling east when the brakes locked up on his Chevy Cavalier, causing his vehicle to skid into the median and roll over, coming to rest on its top in the median.
Perkins, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
The accident was reported about 7:40 Saturday morning about three tenths of a mile west of the U.S. 36 access road on U.S. 36.
