(KNZA)--The Holton City Commission met Monday night, holding their regular session at City Hall.
An update was given during the meeting regarding the upcoming brush and leaves pickup, planned for November 13th through the 16th.
Now finalized is the schedule for the service, with all areas east of Iowa Avenue, in Holton, to be picked up on November 13th and 14th, while all areas including Iowa Avenue West will be serviced on November 15th and 16th.
Holton residents are reminded that leaves must be bagged, while brush should be bundled no longer than 6 feet in length.
All materials must be placed by the edge of the street no later then 7:00 in the morning on the days the pickup is conducted.
Meanwhile, the City of Holton Burn Site will be open Tuesday through Friday of the pickup week from 7 until 4:00.
It will also be opened on the Saturdays of November 17th and 24th for Holton residents who have yard waste remaining.
