More Nebraskans Voting Early
(KTNC) - Early voting began last week in Nebraska, and many voters have either requested a mail-in ballot or have made a trip to the local election authority and cast their ballot.
Secretary of State John Gale expects more Nebraska voters than ever to take advantage of the opportunity. (play audio :26 “mailed to them.”)
Gale speculates that the early campaigns have lead to early voting. (play audio :18 “further information.”)
Early voting ballots can be requested by mail through October 31st, and in-person early voting can be done as late as November 5th, the day before the election.
