Richardson County Commissioners Meet

(KLZA) Richardson County Commissioners met with Dan Schinstock of Engineering Technologies Tuesday to review a proposal for engineering services for replacement of the air conditioning system in the courthouse in Falls City.
    Commissioners voted to accept the proposal for engineering services for a water chiller replacement at a fee of nine percent of the mechanical / electrical construction costs associated with the project.
    Board members also approved a NACO lease purchase agreement with Ameritas for the financing of a 2013 International truck with specialized equipment in the amount of $152,700.
    Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert updated the Commissioners are routine maintenance being done on county roads and bridges.  Huppert noted the armor coating project on the county hard surfaced roads has been completed.
    An engagement letter with Robert W. Aitken, CPA to develop a cost allocation plan for the fiscal year ending June 30th, 2011 for a fee of $4,200 was approved.  The costs of the project will be recovered from an indirect cost payment from federal and state funding.
