(KNZA)--Republican Senator Dennis Pyle is confirmed for a regional debate planned for later this month.
That word today from the Pyle for Senate campaign, which confirms attendance at the forum, to be held in Atchison, and sponsored by KAIR/KNZA radio.
Acceptance follows today's recommendation by the Republican Team Debate Committee for Republican candidates to attend.
Pyle issued the following statement at the time acceptance to attend was announced(Play Audio)
Lukert, challenging Pyle for the 1st District Kansas Senate seat, has agreed to attend the debate, planned for 7:00 on the evening of October 15th(Play Audio)
Originating from the O'Malley McAllister Auditorium on the campus of Benedictine College, the debate will be heard live on KNZA 103.9 FM as well as sister station KAIR 93.7 FM.
Pyle will be joined in attending by fellow Republican Randy Garber whose challenger for the 62nd House of Representatives seat, Dennis Stones, is also expected to be there.
Also included will be the race for the 63rd House of Representatives seat, U.S. House District 2, and Atchison County Sheriff.
