Four Kanzaland area schools find themselves ranked in the latest Kansas Coaches cross country polls released.
In Class 1A its the Axtell Eagles continuing to soar this season running to much success thus far during the cross country season. The girls Eagles sqaud ranks the highest of any Kanzaland area school in the cross country rankings as they check in at number three, while their counterpart the boys rank fourth in their respective rankings as the Kansas Coaches ranked the top seven teams in each class.
Clifton-Clyde girls and boys are both receiving votes in the polls, while Frankfort is receiving votes in boys poll aslo in Class 1A.
In Class 2A there is only one cross country team featured in the rankings and that is the Jefferson County North Charger boys team ranked fourth, as they are lead by Dallas Edwards who finished in fourth in the recent Wamego Invite.
Class 3A features a lot of Kanzaland area teams right on the outside looking in to the top seven, but there is one team in the top seven rankings, that being the Sabetha Bluejay girls who check in at sixth. Pleasant Ridge and Horton are both receiving votes on the girls side, while Sabetha, Horton and Nemaha Valley are receiving votes on the boys side.
