(KAIR) -- U.S. Senator from Kansas Jerry Moran paid a visit to Atchison Thursday as part of his tour of businesses around the state in an effort to improve job accessibility.
Moran took a tour of the Blish-Mize warehouse Thursday morning and explained what he has seen so far in this tour and others.

Moran also discussed the impact the drought this summer has had on another major business in this area, farmers.

The Senate’s version of the Farm Bill has passed the Senate and is awaiting approval in the House.
The current Farm Bill expires on September 30th.
