(KLZA) Richardson County Commissioners Tuesday reviewed the audit findings for the fiscal year that ended June 30th with Deann Heaffner Assistant Deputy and Liz Leber, County Coordinator of the Nebraska State Auditor’s Office. A draft report will be submitted to the Board and each official, with an opportunity for each official to respond to such findings which will be included within the final report.
In other business the Board continued to review bids received August 14th for an asphaltic concrete overlay project. Board members plan to visit a site with the material placed on a road with heavy traffic. A review of salary increases for road foremen and the administrative assistant will continue next week when each of the employee’s will meet individually with the Commissioners in executive session.
The Commissioners did approve a letter of support for the 5 Rivers Weed Management Area for grant funding.
