Leavenworth Man Dies After Moped Hit by Car
LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (AP) A 60-year-old Leavenworth man died when the moped he was riding was hit by a car.
Leavenworth police say the accident happened early Friday near the entrance of a Home Depot store in Leavenworth.
Leavenworth Police identify the victim as Robert Parsons.
Police continue to investigate the crash which happened around 5:30 in the morning.
Parsons, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to a Leavenworth hospital where he was pronounced dead.
