(KLZA) Richardson County Commissioners tabled consideration of wage increases for Road Department Foremen and the Administrative Assistant when they met Tuesday. Board members Jim Davidson and Bill Ely also tabled action and discussion on the 2012-13 Fiscal Year Budget for the Road Department. Commission Chairman David Sickel was not in attendance at Tuesday’s meeting.
Russ Newton with Nebraska Machinery presented information to the Board on tracking devices for road department equipment.
Correspondence from the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska regarding their intent to put two parcels of land into trust, thus removing them from the tax roles was reviewed.
At the request of Deputy County Attorney Doug Merz Commissioners authorized special legal counsel in the Jeffrey Fritz and Teresa Sperline-Fritz vs. State of Nebraska and Richardson County Attorney.
