(KAIR) -- The Atchison suspects involved for allegedly giving false information last week about an accidental shooting have been given formal charges.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson explains.

Wilson says the 16-year-old juvenile passenger will also face related charges.
The felony charges against the adults, James Duhon and Rebecca Scherer, were taken into custody Thursday and made their first appearances in Atchison County District Court.
Duhon’s next appearance will be August 27th and Scherer’s will be August 31st.
Both have posted a 15 thousand dollar bond.
