(KLZA) Not all of the area schools opened the doors for the new school year this week.
The Mound City R-2 School District will begin classes on Monday. There will be a 12:3o p-m dismissal the first day of classes.
The Craig R-III school district begins classes on Monday. Classes will be in session all day on the first day.
Johnson County Central schools will have their first day of classes on Tuesday. Classes begin for all students at 8 a-m the first day. High School students and teachers will assemble in the gymnasium at 8:15 a-m and then head for their classrooms at 8:40 a-m.
