(KAIR) -- The Valley Falls USD 338 school board Monday night approved their 2012-13 budget after hearing no public comment.
The budget calls for a 1.3 mill decrease in the property tax levy.
The board also learned that a program within their elementary school earned a special distinction.
Superintendent Loren Feldkamp explains.

In other action, the board gave long-time Title One Coordinator Mary Jo Hamon a 25 cent an hour increase.
The board also hired James Gray as an Assistant Football Coach and Suzanne Stout as an Assistant Volleyball Coach.
