(KLZA) Nemaha County, Nebraska Commissioners adopted a resolution Wednesday on the question to submit to voters during the General Election in November whether or not to dissolve the Nemaha County Weed District Board.
In other action Commissioners awarded the bid for replacement of Emergency Management Agency and Road Department radios to FirstWireless Inc. at a cost of $13,750. A bid of $13,125 was also submitted by Electronic Engineering Company.
A flood plain permit requested by the Nebraska Department of Raods for construction of a proposed improvement project on Highway 75 north of Auburn was approved. The Board also approved an interlocal agreement for Cooperative Public Safety Services that includes 14 counties and the cities and villages within those Southeast Nebraska counties.
