(KNZA)--A former St. Joseph, Missouri priest has admitted to multiple child pornography charges.
46-year-old Reverend Shawn Ratigan, on Thursday, pleaded guilty to five of the 13 counts against him in a federal courtroom in Kansas City.
The charges include four counts of producing child pornography and one count of attempting to produce child pornography.
Ratigan was charged last year after an investigation turned up hundreds of explicit images of children on his computer, with the victims ranging in age from 2 to 12-years-old.
He faces a minimum of 15 years in prison.
Ratigan once worked at Bishop Leblond and St. Mary's Church in St. Joseph.
